Telegram Setup

This guide will help you add @moni_checker_bot in Telegram.

Note: When you update a group to a supergroup, the ID changes. Get the updated chat ID by sending the /chat_id command to the group.

How to set up Telegram Channel

1. Create a new channel or use an old one. It's important to be an administrator of the channel.

2. Invite @moni_checker_bot to the channel and give admin rights:

   • Go to channel info

   • Administrators

   • Add a new administrator @moni_checker_bot (only the option to post to the channel is required)

3. Send the /chat_id command to the channel to get an ID

   ❗️Note: some channel IDs contain a minus sign.

4. Copy the Chat ID value and send it to @echo0x.

How to set up a Telegram Group

1. Create a new group or use an existing one. It is important to be an administrator.

2. Invite @moni_checker_bot to the group and give the bot admin rights

   • Go to group info

   • Press +Add

   • Add a new member to @moni_checker_bot

   
3. Send the /chat_id command to the channel to get an ID

   ❗️Note: some channel IDs contain a minus sign.
