You’re a Crypto Degen, scrolling through tons of Twitter accounts you’re interested in — looking for projects to invest in and keeping an eye on how much attention your favorite ones are getting.
The problem is, you’re mostly a Telegram and X user, and it’s not very convenient for you to switch your focus from Telegram and X to the Moni Discover Platform. At the same time, you also want an easy way to track Smart attention toward the projects you care about.
That’s where our trio comes in: Moni Discover Extension + Moni TG Checker Bot + Moni Alert Bot.
This combo lets you stay deeply connected with both X and Telegram — almost without ever leaving Telegram or the Moni Discover ecosystem.
Let’s start by finding the project you’re interested in. There are two ways to quickly check if an account is “Smart,” and they differ slightly:
1. Moni Discover Extension A browser extension that lets you quickly verify accounts and add them to your Watchlist.
Pros: More detailed information, the ability to add users directly to your Watchlist, and a compact, data-rich layout.
Cons: Requires installing the Moni Extension and can’t be used on mobile devices.
2. Moni TG Checker Bot A Telegram bot that allows you to check accounts directly within your Telegram group — fast and easy.
Pros: Extremely quick checks, all key data in one place, no need to switch to the Moni Extension or the Moni Discover Platform, and it’s mobile-friendly.
Cons: You can’t add accounts to your Watchlist, and the additional data available is somewhat limited.
We’ll go down both paths, but let’s start with the Moni TG Checker Bot. First, go to https://checker.getmoni.io and click the “Add to your group” button (1). You’ll be redirected straight into the bot. Launch it by sending the /start command.
Note that using the Moni Checker Bot doesn’t require you to create a Telegram group — you can check accounts directly within the bot itself. The only thing you need is to send X link to the Bot. All you need to do is send the X account link in the format https://x.com/username, and the bot will reply with all the relevant information.

This way, you can quickly check accounts without ever leaving Telegram. That was the first method.
The second method involves adding an account to the Alert Bot, so you receive notifications whenever there’s relevant activity. For this, you’ll need the Moni Extension. Please make sure it’s installed and you're logged in before get started.
Once you’ve found the X account you want to track, look for the small Moni logo on the right side of the user’s avatar. Click it to open the sidebar.
Keep in mind, you can open the Moni Extension by clicking the logo in the bottom-right of the avatar either on the user’s profile page or directly on one of their tweets.
A panel will open on the right side of the account, allowing you to explore detailed information about it. After reviewing the account, notice the “Add to Watchlist” button (1). Next, select the list you want and click "+" button to save the account there (2).
Next, go to Moni Discover and open the Alerts tab. It’s straightforward:
Choose "Watchlist" option (3).
Click "New Alert" button (4).
In the menu that opens, select the list where you added the accounts you’re interested in (5).
Give your alert a name (6).
Choose "Smart Mentions" (7).
Enter your Telegram Chat ID (8). How to get Telegram Chat ID and invite the Bot to the chat.
Click "Create Alert" button (9).
That’s it! Now you’ll receive notifications whenever a Smart mentions the user. This way, you can track who’s talking about the accounts you care about and not miss a single bit of alpha.
Pay attention you don't need to create Alert manually everytime you add an account to this list. Alert is already set up, so adding new account to the list won't change anything. You will receive new alerts on new accounts with no extra moves. In the end you receive alerts to the Telegram and check the X accs using TG Bot.
