Angel investor, VC Scout

You’re an Angel Investor / VC Scout. Your job is to monitor the activity of a project you’ve invested in — it’s on your radar and you can’t afford to miss even the smallest detail. You also want to receive automatic notifications about new events directly in Telegram.

First, open Moni Discover. Paste the link to the account you’re interested in into the search bar (1), then click the account that appears in the results (2).

You’ll be taken to the project’s page.

Here, first pay attention to the Moni Score (3), and then look at the Time Filter (4). Select 24H.

The Moni Score is a metric that combines the quality and quantity of smart mentions, engagement velocity, narrative presence, and social momentum.

You’ll notice that there hasn’t been any significant growth in followers (5) — but there was one mention (6,7)

Click the “+” button (7) in the Mentions window to view this mention. Clicking the chain icon button (8) will take you directly to the tweet itself.

On the right side of Followers & Mentions blocks you can filter all the Tweets & Events of the account.

As you scroll down, you'll notice the "Smarts" section (10). This shows the number of Smarts that have paid attention to this project. You can also filter the Smarts by their groups, making it easier to track which types of players (e.g., VC/Fund team, Influencers, etc.) are focusing on the project by choosing the necessary group (11).

Moreover, you can sort the list from highest to lowest (or vice versa) by clicking on the relevant parameter. In this case, it would be Data (12). This allows you to quickly see which Smarts are engaging with the project most recently.

Scroll up the page and click the "Add to Watchlist" button (13). Choose the list where you want to store this account and click the "+" button (14). If you haven’t created a list yet, click the “New List” button (15) to create one.

Next, head over to the Alerts section. There, select Watchlist (15) and click the “New Alert” button (16).

In the window that opens, first select the Watchlist (17) where your desired account is stored. Then, give your alert a name (18). The Alert Types (19) are already pre-selected (we don’t need to change them).

Next, in the Telegram Chat ID field, insert your Chat ID (20). Note that you need to first add the bot to your Telegram chat and get the Chat ID. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here.

After everything is set up, click Create Alert (21), and that's it!
