Startup Founder, Builder

You’re a Startup Founder, a Builder in the SocialFi space. Your goal is to use Moni Discover Platform to find your competitors and track their actions and progress in a social paradigm.

To do this, we’ll go to the Projects tab. We’re interested in projects that are more or less established, so we’ll set the timeframe for projects’ age (1) to three months (2). After that, click the "Manage Filter" button (3).

Next, click on the "Category" button (4) and in the dropdown search (5), type "SocialFi". Select the SocialFi tag (6) and click the "Confirm" button (7).

Note that if you need more flexibility in your parameters, you can also specify the Chain (8) and set the minimum/maximum number of followers or Smarts in the "Stats" section (9).

Now, we’re faced with a large amount of information. Let’s tailor it to our needs.

First, I’m interested in projects with the most Smarts, so I’ll click on the "Smarts" parameter (10) and sort it from highest to lowest.

Additionally, I want to focus on the growth over the last 7 days, so I’ll set the "Change" parameter to 7 days. This parameter shows the change in the specific metric (like Smarts, followers, etc.) over the timeframe you’ve selected (as illustrated in the screenshot).

Now that we’ve customized the list to our needs, it’s time to find competitors and add them to our watchlist.

We’ll skip the part about evaluating the project (you can find more details about the project page here) and jump straight to adding competitors to your list.

To do this, click the "+" button next to the project and choose the appropriate Watchlist. Click the "+" next to the list to add the project to it. If you don’t have a suitable list yet, click the “New List” button (12) and create one.

After gathering the projects you need, move to the Watchlist tab. Then, select the Watchlist (13) you want to focus on.

Once you’re in the Watchlist, you’ll see the list of projects you’ve added. This is essentially a personalized version of the Projects list, but with only the projects that matter to you. You can still sort the parameters from highest to lowest (14) and set the Time Change (15) as before.

However, there’s one important feature here: the Feed. Let’s click on this button (16).

The Feed parameter contains all tweets from the accounts in your list, as well as other events (16). More importantly, you can sort them.

In this case, I’m only interested in Smart Mentions, so I set the parameter to that (17).

This way, you can track your competitors’ changes in social media growth, see which Smarts are mentioning the project, monitor BIO changes, their tweets, and much much more.
